1: Delayed registrations refer to additions and removals that were registered in the reported year but happened in a previous year. 2: This comprises first arrivals and rearrivals. 3: This comprises departures to other countries or unknown destinations and ex-officio deregistrations. 4: The increased number of delayed registrations in 2017 and 2018 is mainly due to delayed registrations of EU citizens in Berlin. 5: The increased number of delayed registrations in 2016 is mainly due to delayed registrations of asylum seekers who arrived in the preceding year.
