The allocation to regions is based on where the water supply company is headquartered. 1: Population at their sole or main place of residence; reference date up to 2004: 31 December, up to 2019: 30 June, since 2022: 31 December of the previous year. 2: All customers that are billed for water consumption together with other units (private households) by means of one house water meter, such as bakeries, butcher shops, medical practices. 3: In relation to the population connected and the water distributed to households and small businesses. r = The value was corrected at 14th November 2024.
