Prices of residential property, 3rd quarter of 2024 (provisional)
-0.7% on the same quarter of the previous year
+0.3% on the previous quarter
WIESBADEN – In the 3rd quarter of 2024, the prices of residential property (house price index) in Germany decreased by an average of 0.7% compared with the 3rd quarter of 2023. In the 2nd quarter of 2024 the year-on-year decline was 2.5%. The prices of residential property were up 0.3% compared with the previous quarter, which was a smaller increase than in the 2nd quarter of 2024 (+1.5%).
