- Quantity of imported agricultural products up 4.0% and exported quantity up 1.1%, compared with the same period a year earlier

WIESBADEN – From January to November 2023, 44.0 million tonnes of agricultural products to the value of 57.9 billion euros were imported to Germany and 27.4 million tonnes to the value of 35.9 billion euros were exported from Germany. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that imports therefore increased by 4.0% in quantitative terms compared with the same period of the previous year and decreased by 2.5% in value terms. German exports of agricultural products were 1.1% higher in quantitative terms and 0.2% lower in value terms.
