Truck toll mileage index, December 2023
-3.5% on the previous month (calendar and seasonally adjusted)
-3.5% on the same month a year earlier (calendar adjusted)
KÖLN/WIESBADEN – The mileage covered by trucks with four or more axles, which are subject to toll charges, on German motorways decreased by 3.5% in December 2023 compared with November 2023, after calendar and seasonal adjustment. The Federal Logistics and Mobility Office (BALM) and the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also report that, on a calendar adjusted basis, the truck toll mileage index was 3.5% lower than in December 2022.
