Truck toll mileage index, November 2023
+1.3% on the previous month (calendar and seasonally adjusted)
-3.7% on the same month a year earlier (calendar adjusted)
KÖLN/WIESBADEN – The mileage covered by trucks with four or more axles, which are subject to toll charges, on German motorways increased by 1.3% in November 2023 compared with October 2023, after calendar and seasonal adjustment. The Federal Logistics and Mobility Office (BALM) and the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also report that, on a calendar adjusted basis, the truck toll mileage index was 3.7% lower than in November 2022.
