Truck toll mileage index, September 2023
+0.4% on the previous month (calendar and seasonally adjusted)
-2.7% on the same month a year earlier (calendar adjusted)
KÖLN/WIESBADEN – The mileage covered by trucks with four or more axles, which are subject to toll charges, on German motorways increased by 0.4% in September 2023 compared with August 2023, after calendar and seasonal adjustment. The Federal Logistics and Mobility Office (BALM) and the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also report that, on a calendar adjusted basis, the truck toll mileage index fell by 2.7% compared with September 2022.
