Truck toll mileage index, August 2023
-0.8% on the previous month (calendar and seasonally adjusted)
-3.3% on the same month a year earlier (calendar adjusted)
KÖLN/WIESBADEN – The mileage covered by trucks with four or more axles, which are subject to toll charges, on German motorways decreased by 0.8% in August 2023 compared with July 2023, after calendar and seasonal adjustment. The Federal Logistics and Mobility Office (BALM) and the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also report that, on a calendar adjusted basis, the truck toll mileage index fell by 3.3% compared with August 2022.
