Truck toll mileage index, June 2023
-1.4% on the previous month (calendar and seasonally adjusted)
-3.3% on the same month a year earlier (calendar adjusted)
KÖLN/WIESBADEN – The mileage covered by trucks with four or more axles, which are subject to toll charges, on German motorways decreased by 1.4% in June 2023 compared with May 2023, after calendar and seasonal adjustment. The Federal Logistics and Mobility Office (BALM) and the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also report that the truck toll mileage index fell by 3.3% compared with June 2022 on a calendar adjusted basis.
