Truck toll mileage index, May 2023
+1.6% on the previous month (calendar and seasonally adjusted)
-1.2% on the same month a year earlier (calendar adjusted)
KÖLN/WIESBADEN – The mileage covered by trucks with four or more axles, which are subject to toll charges, on German motorways increased by a calendar and seasonally adjusted 1.6% in May 2023 compared with April 2023. The Federal Logistics and Mobility Office (BALM) and the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also report that, on a calendar adjusted basis, the truck toll mileage index fell by 1.2% compared with May 2022.
