Truck toll mileage index, April 2023
+0.1% on the previous month (calendar and seasonally adjusted)
-3.1% on the same month a year earlier (calendar adjusted)
KÖLN/WIESBADEN – The mileage covered by trucks with four or more axles, which are subject to toll charges, on German motorways increased by a calendar and seasonally adjusted 0.1% in April 2023 compared with March 2023. The Federal Logistics and Mobility Office (BALM) and the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also report that, on a calendar adjusted basis, the truck toll mileage index fell by 3.1% compared with April 2022.
