- Increase in organic eggs of 6.3% from the previous year
WIESBADEN – In 2022, roughly 13.2 billion eggs were produced in Germany in holdings with at least 3,000 places for laying hens. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that production increased by 1.4% compared with the previous year.
