WIESBADEN – Agreed earnings in Germany rose by an average 2.2% in 2022 compared with the annual average of 2021. This is shown by the index of agreed monthly earnings including extra payments. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that agreed earnings excluding extra payments rose by 1.4% in 2022 compared with the previous year. Consumer prices increased by 6.9% over the same period.
