WIESBADEN – In 2020, just over 77% of the German enterprises offered their staff advanced training programmes aimed at continuing skills development. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that the proportion of enterprises providing continuing training activities remained unchanged compared with 2015. In 2020, 63% of the enterprises offered traditional advanced training programmes in the form of courses and seminars. 73% of the enterprises made use of additional forms of corporate training such as information events, job rotation and self-directed learning like, for instance, e-learning.
