WIESBADEN – 45% of the 267,800 bachelor’s graduates from German universities who earned their degree in the examination year 2019 (winter semester 2018/2019 and summer semester 2019) had started a master’s degree course in Germany by winter semester 2020/2021. The rate of transition from a bachelor's to a master’s degree course in Germany thus remained unchanged from examination year 2018 as the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports.
