- Number of requests for normal insolvency proceedings in December 2021 up 18.0% on the previous month, according to provisional figures
- Consumer insolvencies in October 2021 more than tripled (+222.1%) year on year
WIESBADEN – German local courts reported 1,056 business insolvency requests in October 2021. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that this was a decline of 2.7% compared with October 2020. Compared with October 2019 before the coronavirus crisis, the number of business insolvencies was 33.7% lower in October 2021.
