WIESBADEN – In October 2021, a total of 260 people died in road traffic accidents in Germany. Based on provisional figures, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that 28 more people were killed than in October 2020. The number of people injured increased by just over 2,900, or 10%, to roughly 32,700 in October 2021 compared with the same month a year earlier.
