WIESBADEN – In June 2021, turnover in the non-financial business economy in Germany increased for the second consecutive time, compared with the previous month. Based on provisional data, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that the nominal (not price adjusted) turnover increased by 2.7% on a calendar and seasonally adjusted basis compared with May 2021. Turnover in the non-financial business economy was 12.2% higher in June 2021 than in February 2020, the month before restrictions were imposed because of the coronavirus pandemic in Germany.
