Press Federal Government achieved four of its twelve sustainability goals for 2020

Federal Statistical Office publishes new indicator report 2021 on the German Sustainable Development Strategy – results are also available on an online platform

WIESBADEN – Today, 10 March 2021, the Federal Government has adopted the German Sustainable Development Strategy (DNS) 2021. To coincide with this, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) has checked to what extent the Federal Government achieved its goals for 2020. In the 72 DNS target areas, twelve goals were to be concretely achieved by 2020. The results regarding the goals of the German Sustainable Development Strategy are available in the new indicator report “Sustainable Development in Germany” and on the DNS online platform.
