WIESBADEN – As reported by the Federal Statistical Office, in Germany the number of overnight stays in accommodation establishments with 10 or more bed places and in tourist campsites having 10 or more pitches decreased by 39.0% to 302.3 million in 2020, compared with the preceding year.
In December 2020 the number of overnight stays totalled 6.7 million. It was 78.4% lower than in the same month a year earlier.
