WIESBADEN – Despite the partial lockdown, turnover in the non-financial business economy in Germany continued to increase in November 2020 compared with the previous month. Based on provisional data, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that the nominal (not price adjusted) turnover increased by a seasonally and calendar adjusted 1.3%.
Since its lowest point in April 2020, turnover in the non-financial business economy has increased continuously and most recently exceeded the pre-crisis level. In November 2020, turnover was 1.8% higher than in February 2020, the month before restrictions were imposed because of the coronavirus pandemic in Germany.
