WIESBADEN – In October 2020, 236 people died in road traffic accidents in Germany. Based on provisional results, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that this was a decline of 40 people compared with October 2019. The number of people injured was down by just under 3,300 to roughly 30,300 in October 2020 (-9.7%) compared with the same month a year earlier.
