WIESBADEN – Turnover in the non-financial business economy in Germany was slightly up in October 2020 compared with the previous month. Based on provisional data, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that the nominal (not price adjusted) turnover increased by a seasonally and calendar adjusted 1.5%. The lowest level of turnover was recorded in April 2020. Since then it has increased continuously and nearly reached the pre-crisis level in October 2020. Turnover was only 0.3% lower than in February 2020, the month before restrictions were imposed because of the coronavirus pandemic in Germany.
