WIESBADEN - The number of trainees in the federal and Land police forces has more than doubled in the past decade (+123.1%). The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that the number of trainees in the federal police forces has increased by 240.5 % to 7,100 and in the Land police forces by 107.4% to 32,100 since 2010. Growth was especially high in Hamburg (+345.8%), Sachsen-Anhalt (+302.1%) and Schleswig-Holstein (+242.4%).
