Retail turnover, April 2020
-5.3% on the previous month (in real terms, calendar and seasonally adjusted, provisional)

-6.5% on the same month a year earlier (in real terms, provisional)
-5.3% on the same month a year earlier (in nominal terms, provisional)
WIESBADEN – According to provisional data turnover in retail trade in April 2020 was in real terms 6.5% and in nominal terms 5.3% lower than in April 2019. The number of days open for sale was 24 in April 2020 and in April 2019.
When adjusted for calendar and seasonal variations, the April 2020 turnover was in real terms 5.3% and in nominal terms 5.1% lower than in March 2020.
