WIESBADEN – As the corona pandemic continues, retailers report increasing demand for specific convenience goods, including pharmacy products. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that real turnover in pharmacies (price adjusted) was 6.0% higher in February 2020 compared with February 2019. The average rate of change in the last five years was +2.6%.
