WIESBADEN – The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) now provides data for the indicators of the German Sustainable Development Strategy in an interactive and map-based format on its Online platform on sustainable development in Germany. The new format of data provision goes online on the occasion of the Dialogue Conference on the German Sustainable Development Strategy held in Bonn on 19 February 2020. The data allow monitoring the achievement of the Federal Government’s more than 60 goals of the Sustainable Development Strategy. These include, for instance, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, better education and working conditions, more affordable housing, lower government debt levels, gender equality, species diversity and better trade chances for developing countries.
