WIESBADEN – Car-related prices have increased by 4.6% since the last International Motor Show (IAA) in September 2017 as measured by the price index for the purchase and operation of motor vehicles. To coincide with the IAA 2019 starting on 12 September 2019 in Frankfurt am Main, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that the prices of purchasing and operating motor vehicles rose somewhat more strongly than consumer prices in general. The latter were up 3.4% from September 2017 to July 2019.
