WIESBADEN – Just under 90% of the population living in urban regions in Germany can reach the nearest hospital providing basic care within 15 minutes. In rural regions, this is possible for only just over 64% of the population. These accessibility data come from the new Hospital Atlas of the statistical offices of the Federation and the Länder.
