WIESBADEN – In 2018, passengers went by bus or rail almost 11.6 billion times in regular short-distance and long-distance transport in Germany. Based on provisional results, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that passenger transport rose by 0.6% compared with the previous year.
