WIESBADEN – According to provisional results, goods worth 199.3 billion euros were traded between Germany and the People's Republic of China in 2018 (exports and imports). The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that the People's Republic of China was Germany’s most important trading partner in 2018 for the third consecutive year. Next came the Netherlands with a trading volume of 189.4 billion euros, followed by the United States in third place with 178.0 billion euros.
