Press Increase in engine performance of passenger cars leads to rising CO2 emissions

WIESBADEN – The carbon dioxide emissions caused by passenger cars in Germany are continuously increasing. In 2017, a total 115 million tonnes of CO2 was emitted. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that this is a 6% increase on 2010.
