WIESBADEN – An official ceremony marked the reopening of the restored canteen of the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) on 10 October 2018. The entire complex of buildings of the Federal Statistical Office at Gustav-Stresemann-Ring in Wiesbaden has now been completely restored. President Dr. Georg Thiel says in the welcoming speech he gives at the ceremony: "As an attractive employer we are greatly interested in promoting our staff's creativity and efficiency. This includes a modern working environment where every staff member can work in comfort and be productive. Balanced nutrition is an important contributing factor of the daily work routine."
