WIESBADEN - In 2016, roughly 453,000 pupils in Germany attained the qualification to enter a university or university of applied sciences. Based on provisional results, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that this is 1.9% more persons qualified to enter higher education than in the previous year.
