Press Spending on women's wear still twice as high as on men's wear

WIESBADEN – On average, households in Germany spent 528 euros on women's clothing in 2014. This was nearly twice as much as spent on men's clothing (276 euros). The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that this ratio of women's to men's wear expenditure has remained almost unchanged for many years. An average of 84 euros was spent on children's wear in 2014.
