Press Construction prices for residential buildings February 2016: +1.7% on a year earlier

WIESBADEN – In February 2016, the construction prices for conventionally constructed new residential buildings (construction work performed at the building; including turnover tax) in Germany were up 1.7% compared with February 2015. In November 2015, as reported by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), the prices increased 1.6% on a year earlier. Compared with November 2015, the prices for residential buildings rose up 0.8% in February 2016.

Concerning non-residential buildings, in February 2016, the prices were up 1.9% for office buildings compared with February 2015. For industrial buildings the prices rose up 1.6%. For road construction the prices rose 0.5% compared with the corresponding month of the preceding year.
