WIESBADEN – In 2015 the index of producer prices for industrial products (domestic sales) for Germany fell by 1.8% on an annual average from the preceding year, as reported by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis). A year before the index had fallen by 1.0%.
In December 2015 the index of producer prices for industrial products fell by 2.3% from the corresponding month of the preceding year. Energy prices were 6.8 % low compared with December 2014, prices of intermediate goods fell by 2.2%. Prices of consumer non-durable goods increased by 0.2% compared with December 2014.
In November 2015 the annual rate of change all over had been –2.5%.
Compared with the preceding month the index fell by 0.5% in December 2015 (–0.2% in November and –0.4% in October).
